There was late drama on Saturday as Weybridge Town scored at the death to take a share of the points. Weybridge were good value for their early lead, but OFC nicked one back before half time through Rosco. While in the ascendancy in the second half OFC took the lead with a rare strike from Sonny but Weybridge's pressure in the latter stages eventually paid off with a last minute penalty which found the back of the net. Next week sees OFC face off against top of the table Tongham Reserves. This will no doubt be an extremely tough fixture for the lads as Tongham have good pedigree and their first team play 5 leagues higher than us in the Surrey Elite Intermediate League. Obviously it would be great to see a good crowd down at Coronation Rec to cheer the lads on in what will probably be our toughest match this season.

OFC are left to count the cost of last Saturday's match against Cobham. As a result of our inability to keep our heads and provide the referee with the respect he deserved, 2 of our players now have lengthy bans plus whopping personal fines to pay the FA. In addition, despite only having picked up only 2 previous bookings this season, such was the lack of discipline on Saturday, the club is now dangerously close to having to pay a club fine for accumulating too many disciplinary points. This sort of thing cannot happen again.

New players are always welcome at OFC. We are an FA Charter Standard Club with FA qualified coaches, superb matchday / training facilities and a great set of regular supporters. On the pitch we have a good miixture of youth and experience and our exploits are reported in the local paper most weeks.
