Jack Hillier

Now in his second season with OFC, Jack has established himself as one of the team's key players and is everything that a team could want from a right winger. His main attributes are his pace (in fact I don't think I have seen a player who can match him over 20 yards) and he's also a gritty player who's never afraid to get stuck in. This season he has started to come into his own and stuck four goals away in our first four games, unfortunately an ankle ligament injury has sidelined him since we played against Merrow, but he should be back after Christmas when he returns from a month in Barbados . Despite injury, he's shown that he's a team player and still comes down to virtually every training session and match. Off the pitch because he's loaded, you'll probably see Jack in the types of clothes shops that you and I can't afford to shop in, but that's only if he's not on holiday in a destination you can only dream of going.

Drink Tea with one sugar, although I'm sure you lot will change that soon enough.

Most Likely to Say Yes, Mr. Barr, "My handicap? About 22..."
Occupation Errmm, not really sure bit of everything, I am doing nautical rigging on a film called "Golden Compass" at the moment.
Tell us a bit about yourself Jack...

I was born in St. Peters (Chertsey); I lived in Sunbury until I was six, moved to Walton then to Weybridge and back to Walton again where I am living now. Went to school at Claremont in Esher where a certain Phil Barr claims he teaches! I have a sister who is 21 and a brother who is 34, no talk about the sister please!

One fascinating fact about yourself that everyone should know?

I once scored from the halfway line with my left foot! And I think I had my eyes shut.

Best player you have played with or against?

As much as it pains me to say it, it has to be Goulash, the way he just picks the ball up and casually strolls past a whole team is quite ridiculous. Just another class above us lot.

Who is your footballing idol and why?

Gianfranco Zola, the guy was simply a genius with a football, he used to do things with a football I have never seen anyone else achieve. Never forget his little flick against Norwich.

If we went back to Chateaux Hillier and opened your CD player, what would we find?

Kasabian, the kooks, chili peppers, Jack Johnson.

Which player do you compare yourself to and why?

Probably Shaun Wright-Phillips, too fast for my own good and never got a final ball!

Greatest moment in an OFC shirt?

Scoring my first goal… it was only about a year in the waiting.

Top 3 Films?

1. Point Break

2. Gladiator

3. The Business

When at Claremont were there any names given to Phil that the team need to know about. I.e. Mr Barr(stard) or Mr Barr(sole)??

I wish I could tell you something but just can't bloody think of anything.

Anything you want to state, that I may have left out?

Errr, not that I can think of.
